Auction Paddle Pricing

NOTE:  Standard production times right now are still 2.5 weeks (probably through Spring 2025).  That means needing paddles in LESS time that will likely incur a reasonable RUSH charge of 10-15% depending (this is not shipping). The website does NOT properly capture this and we will follow up with actual order costs after you place your order.  Nothing gets charged at time of order and you are under no obligation until we actually confirm all paddle-design and pricing details with you and have begun production.  Thank you!

2-1-2025. ANNOUNCING OUR NEW PLASTICS!!  We are extremely excited that after 20 years of producing our own custom corrugated plastics (BasicPRO and ValuePRO), we have made the decision to move these 2 plastics from our custom-made Cartonplast to a next-generation corrugated material called Bubble-X.  Please read about these materials here.  Our sheet costs are now more than double what we've been paying for Cartonplast, but we just can't ignore the HUGE differential in rigidity, opaqueness, surface texture, durability and cut smoothness.  Not only that but Bubble-X has NO parallel flutes running through the material. NONE! Just a beautiful smooth, slightly textured surface and not at all like any corrugated material you may have encountered. This material is very unique and makes for an even BETTER paddle.  So structural integrity is off the charts!  Our mission is to make the best paddle we can offer and at the best price, with the best VALUE our non-profit customers have come know and expect.  BTW, you will not find ANYONE, ANYWHERE using Bubble-X for paddles, but since we purchase and manufacture at scale our pricing remains very competitive. We simply make the best auction paddles on the market today.

For customers looking to fill-in missing paddles please note that the new BubbleX WILL look and feel different compared to your existing materials (read:better). While we are sensitive to the fact the new replacement paddles in your set will be slightly different, we need to ensure our materials are the best they can be. If you wish to change your entire set to this BubbleX we understand and will be offering 20% discounts on orders you wish to have remade (20% presumes no new changes to the paddles, and any new fill-in numbers are excluded from 20% btw). Our stock ValuePRO material (Cartonplast) is pretty much gone at this point but BasicPRO (Cartonplast) will likely still be available until about June 2025.

We are implementing an overly simplified pricing scheme here until we get our shop the way we want it. What you see here is for NEW customers. Existing customers will continue with your already-familiar pricing calculated based on your cumulative number of paddles purchased to date. You can purchase online for any of the shapes you see here. For others please call to order as you can always call to place an order instead. Think 'old school'. Please note that we have uploaded only about 110 of our 350+ shapes. Hit us up and we'll quickly send you any shapes you are interested in. We may very well already have it.

Please see the pricing below for quantities between 100 and 350 paddles. Pricing is for ANY shape in those quantities, although there will be a slight additional cost for our more complex shapes that does NOT show up on the order details upon checkout. The website doesn't allow us to include all costs that vary based on shape/material where we need to charge a bit more.  Typically a more complex shape will cost slightly more due to getting fewer paddles out per sheet (the yield/sheet) and/or there being increased cutting time due to complexity.  Both of these add cost on our end. The other time they will be slightly more is when you want the entire paddle background to be a full fill color (like a black background fill).  Since we start with white plastic in almost all situations we need to print the background color on 1 or both sides which adds cost.  So if you wanted the paddle to be, say, "black" on both sides then that would make it a 2-sided print job. Otherwise one side would be black and the other side white (non printed).

So, on average, there is about a $0.35-$0.60 added cost per paddle (varies on material) due to a lower yield/sheet and a $0.15-$0.20 added cost per paddle for additional time to cut if you order a shape with much more complexity.  So total about $0.50-$0.80 more per paddle (again depending on material) for our most complex shapes.  Factor this in when figuring your costs please.  We do our best to be as transparent about our how we operate as we can.  Nobody likes surprises!  We know, we're just like you--

We'll let you know right away after you place your order if that shape is considered more complex. Generally, quantities <80 (less than 1 sheet's worth of paddles) will be slightly MORE and quantities more than 600 may be LESS, all else being equal. "Standard" production turnaround has been running at 2.5 weeks + shipping time (even during our non-peaks months). Rush shipping is ALWAYS available for up to same day production. Rush charges are NOT shipping and don't automatically get calculated on the order page, along with the other added costs above. Our rush charges are reasonable and typically don't exceed 15% in most cases.  Please see our FAQ regarding our different plastics. ALL plastics ARE reusable. All paddles are 1-piece including handle built-in.

DID YOU KNOW?  We also fill in missing paddle numbers for ANY order when some go missing! The price per paddle to replace any missing paddles is the same as the cost per paddle when you ordered your previous set, + $35 per 50 numbers (max. $105) setup cost for number layouts. Maybe a small upcharge for REALLY small fill-in orders, but whether you fill-in 20 or 200, we'll do it.

PLEASE NOTE:  INSANE plastic price increases (37-54% for us since COVID started) has resulted in us having to increase pricing here. For NEW customers only, expect an additional 10% on the figures below, regardless of how the product detail webpage prices are reflected. (We are actively working on updating pricing to accurately reflect this change with our new website out in early 2025 which will have 100% accurate pricing reflected throughout the website). Until then, will make the adjustment to your order when we send over the official order confirmation which will include all included costs. Note that pricing for PlatinumPRO will NOT require an increase as we've already inventoried those paddles previously.
