We created Better Bidder in 2003, "out of the garage" and "from nothing but an idea" as they say. We have been producing plastic, reusable, auction paddles, promotional fans, and event signage (to start) right here in Mequon, Wisconsin. Just north of Milwaukee. As a small, family-run business, our goal has always been to bring a better experience to non-profit organizations' live-auction fundraising efforts with our products and services. We have fashioned a niche in creating custom, 'one of a kind', and realistically-detailed paddle designs that are superior to the unimpressive and cheap 'stick paper top' hand fans found out there. These continue to be our goals:
1. Make a better paddle for a better fundraising experience.
2. Use creative and fun paddle designs in conjunction with organizations' event themes and causes to ENGAGE with their patrons more at their events. The result being (as we say) "More Fun and Higher Bids".
3. Bring real value through reusable products and filling-in missing paddles.
4. Make the 'paddle raise' a given at any live fundraiser, and partner with event software vendors to make the paddle the premier source of engagement for maximizing live-event revenues.
To date, we've served over 3,500 organizations, most of which are non-profit organizations; associations, foundations, churches, clubs, schools, government courts etc.. Also, many of the most well-known auction houses are our customers; not just located here in the United States, but around the world. Like Sotheby's. For-profit organizations also use our products for photo-shoots, movie props, annual conferences, crowd control, voting/feedback, and promotions alike.
We take great pride in what we do everyday and we strive to always get better. But it's our many repeat customers that know the value our products bring to their events, that brings us the most joy. That's how we measure our success.
